Here's a little bio

I have always enjoyed art and computers and thought, “What can I do to make a living out of both?” Once I entered college I knew the field of study I wanted to pursue—Graphic Design. This would give me an opportunity to do something I enjoy and pay the bills! After 5 years, a wife, and 3 kids later, I finally graduated in May 2005. I received my BFA with an emphasis in Visual Communication and Design from Weber State University in Utah. Now I had to gain real world experience and put my education to the test. Less than three months after graduation and many job applications out in the process, I got my break in the industry. In fact, the company I work for has been such a great place to be, that I’m still there even today. I’m a full time graphic designer for a design firm in Utah and love what I get to create and do. Earlier this year, I finally decided to make my moonlighting jobs official and started my own business. I do freelance work specializing in graphic and web design. I love the freedom and experiences.

I’m currently a member of the American Institute of Graphic Artists (AIGA) and love being a part of the design community. Being a part of the AIGA association keeps me in touch with what’s new in my field and how design both good and bad can impact the success or failure of a business.
